The ant he saw at his feet

Trying a bit of Haiku today, inspired by my grandson and his devoted attention to an ant on the sidewalk.

  1. That is wonderful! And so true how they can tune everything out and be focused. We could learn from them. I always loved when my kids taught me how the most important treasure of the day could fit right in their pocket.
    Now…. grandkid lessons. 🙂

  2. LOVE this! Haiku is one of my favorite poetry forms – and you have captured so well (in words and image) the intensity of his focus.
