Thin ice, covering the pond,
holding the bubbles of air in place,
the water giving a vibrant look to
the colors of the otherwise gray stones.
What kind of magic happens below the surface
to make this little window in the ice,
this tiny moment of clarity…

I love icy water shots!! There are so many wonderful textures and colors. Beautiful words to go along with your image!!
Wow! That is gorgeous, Deb! It could be an abstract painting, but it's even nicer knowing that it was created by Mother Nature.
Truly a beautiful window…love that bubble frame!
Gorgeous! Those bubbles resemble a constellation of stars. Isn't it amazing how a clear window is created, giving us view into the depths?
