I spent several hours today with gals from my local photo club.
Our trip included a walk in Kendrick Woods, a favorite place of mine.
The trillium (above) was beautiful.
Mayapples were all over the place.
One of the gals spotted this snail on a log.
This walk in the woods today reminded me of all the camping my family did when I was a kid, and then how my parents continued that after all of us had left the nest. Many times they mentioned how nice it was to see spring coming up throughout the woods. Today I could certainly see why they enjoyed that.
I used my new 50mm lens all day today. It is fabulous. I think it will stay on my camera for a while. If you’d like to see the entire set of images from today, click here to go to my Flickr page.
Gorgeous! I checked out all your photos on Flickr too. You are very talented. Thank you for the help today with my camera. Oh, my favorite is the Trillium at the top of this post. I love the focus, color, and grouping.
You're getting some wonderful images with your new lens. I'm impressed!

Love your spring shots, and how fun to go out with your photo club group
What fun for you to continue to explore nature, with camera in hand and other photographers by your side.
What a lovely place to visit and take pictures! I love them all, but the snail is amazing! I checked out your Flickr set and they're all so beautiful!!
