A little bit of beauty

They are like two little girls out in their Sunday clothes, carrying their little girl purses on their arms,  looking up and around and just taking it all in.  Standing there in bed of softness, surrounded by light. Receiving the warmth of the sun and letting it soak in.

What do you think they are saying to one another?

  1. They remind me of twins, dressed just alike! I'm sure one of them is saying "I saw the most marvelous pair of shoes at Bloomingdales." Fun post, Deborah! You have quite an imagination!

  2. Yesterday you discovered a "fish". Today its two girls in pink. I love when we find human attributes in non-human form – it gives us something charming to relate to. We can write a story about their interaction – are they sisters? Best friends? The one of the left looks like she is doubling over with the giggles. Maybe its about that cute boy that smiled at them during lunch.

  3. If they're anything like I was, they're wondering how soon they can slip into something more comfortable and go play! 🙂 But they are lovely in their pretty pink "outfits."

  4. Deb, this is soooo cute. Reminds me of what my nana and my mom would say, they loved to talk this way about dolls and things. Love the picture and what you wrote. I agree with Cathy and seabluelee those are good ideas. Maybe they would be thinking of a picnic by the lake or going out for tea after church.

    Thanks for making me smile!

  5. Deb, I so love that image of two little girls in their Sunday best. What a wonderful metaphor to describe this photo. I would guess, that as young girls often do, they are talking about young men. So cute.
