Circle of Life

I have been inspired this week by another photographer, which has lead me to create this image. It made me think of how our lives bear fruit, how from each of us a seed is left in the hearts of others, sometimes without our knowing it. Seeds of inspiration, of encouragement, seeds of hope and love. Then those seeds are planted either on purpose or by happenstance, and the Circle of Life continues.
How have you been inspired lately?

  1. Beautiful image. From where the inspiration came, it matters not, but you've produced something lovely.
I can't figure out where my inspiration comes from-I'm trying to listen to what is within, but that isn't always easy to hear.
    Happy day Deborah.

  2. Yes, my inspiration cup has been filled to overflowing since I"ve been blogging and meeting other photographers/artists. This is a beautiful shot and I love it in the black and white.

  3. Deb,
Beautiful shot – the textures really shine in black and white. I love that bit of juice along the bottom edge, catching the light.

I am currently working on a project that was inspired by a famous photograph and then reiterated by works from blogging friends – it is the first time this has happened to me. Instead of discovering a series in my work by noticing trends or common subjects, I am purposefully going out to shoot certain shots. It is rather exciting – I don't know how successful it will prove to be – but I suppose that isn't the point.

  4. I have to agree with LeAnne. Since taking Kat's classes and being introduced to the wonderful world of blogging, I'm inspired daily by posts like this one, and by the comments others leave, too.
